Purple diamond in Technologies menu
What did you do?
================
1. Reduce window width to about 800px
2. Sign out
3. Go to nonexistent page like https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/NotFound
4. Open Technologies menu
What happened?

A purple quarter circle appears above the WebExtensions entry, from the GitHub login button
What should have happened?
==========================
The Technologies menu should appear to be on the top of other page elements
Is there anything else we should know?

Reproduces in Safari, Chrome, FF Nightly.

A similar glitch is present at the end of the button, when opening the "References & Guides" menu.
