Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://www.nperf.com/fr/ with Firefox 55-57 on macOS 10.12 or 10.13
Many other websites with animations are laggy on macOS


Actual results:

The rotating animation is very laggy

Expected results:

The animation should be totally smooth like on other browsers available on macOS
I see this as well on the latest nightly, especially on the animation on the inside of the spinning wheel. I compared the site and Chrome renders the animation smoothly (spinning wheel).

I tried to bucket this bug a bit better, hopefully I put it where it belongs.

There is some crazy js recursion going on in that profile.  Its the "b" function calling itself over and over (maybe with eval?).

I see some GC's happening during that b() stuff too, blowing out their slice budget. ALLOC_TRIGGER and OUT_OF_NURSERY seem to be the reasons:
