When downloading a Photoship PSD, Mozilla tried to save it as a text document
and open it in a window. I could counteracted this, but it may be a small
concern, if any at all.
This is almost certainly due to the Web server sending it as a text file... is
there a particular URL where this happens?
reporter hasn't replied with a specific case. I assume this is the extensions bug.

Mail from reporter (it got lost in the "Boris is moving" shuffle):

I am not sure about the server that the file is on,
but I know it is a Mandrake Linux server that should
have all the proper MIME types(??) if that is what is
needed. I'm not exactly a server guy, but that is all
I can tell you. The file url is -
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
 - I apologize for the spaces in the file name, I was
to lazy to fix it. I tested it in IE 6, which worked
fine, but this may be because of error correction. My
administrator also commented that he had problems with
TAR files on Mozilla. This may seem like a lot of
rubbish if I've used some improper language, so please
forgive me, I'm a student.
I doubt that I need to mention, but the url is
confidential, a current project for a local business.

Reopening. This is not a dup of 120327

These are the headers the servers sends for that PSD file:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 04:55:07 GMT
Server: XXXXXXX [excised by bzbarsky@mit.edu]
Last-Modified: Wed, 24 Apr 2002 18:31:40 GMT
ETag: "13a58-31deb3-3cc6fa0c"
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Length: 3268275
Connection: close
Content-Type: text/plain

Note the Content-Type header. We honor what the server tells us in such cases;
IE has a standing bug in that it does not.

if you don't think the report is invalid, please check to see if it has already
been reported (it might be a duplicate instead). otherwise, make sure that there
are steps (a valid test case) that clearly display the issue as an unexpected
defect.
