When I open an e-mail and choose some text with the mouse for copying, the copy-function of the popup after the right-click is not activ (and the function of "marking all" too). But when I take the menu way after marking the text the function works! (Bearbeiten > Kopieren). After marking and copying with the function in the menu the right-click function works too till I leave the document !!! Rainer
I see this on 2002042403 XP. Related: bug 137141 Modifying summary.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Summary: No copy of marked e-mail text by Right-clicking → Stand Alone Context Menu: "Copy" and "Select All" disabled untill used from main menu
I thing this bug is easier to resolve: when the Mozilla allows that "menu > Bearbeiten > Kopieren" can be used, also the "right-click > Kopieren" should allowed to be used. The bug 137141 appeared in ealier versions of mozilla (I had also problems with it in newslists) but the bug 140032 is a new one: it only appears in Mozilla 1.0.x.

Yes, this doesn't seem like an issue anymore. Rainer: please don't mark bugs as FIXED unless you know which patch fixed the bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#resolution ->WFM
