STR: 1) open up chrome 2) open up firefox nightly 3) open the bookmarks bar in each, and add a bookmark to a fast serving text based page. (ex: https://www.techmeme.com/) 4) click on the bookmark in each, let the page load, notice the behavior of the address bar in each. 5) goto 4 In Nightly, the address bar text bounces against the area hosting the shield icon since the shield briefly disappears during page load. This introduces a noticeable difference when compared to chrome which does not exhibit the behavior. This makes page load feel slower. Adding regression keyword to get this on triage radar.
I just realized this is the privacy shield indicating I'm running with tracking protection. Probably not a blocker for 57 as such since that's non-default. Probably impacts privacy mode.
