User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170824053622
Steps to reproduce:
Open this facebook video (happens on others too): https://www.facebook.com/optimahealthmassage/videos/696906350504692/
Press play
Actual results:
Video played for awhile, but then was replaced with a green background with random vertical colour bands
Expected results:
The video should play
Tested on 64-bit Firefox 55.0.3 and 58.0a1 (2017-09-23) with a fresh profile on Windows 10. The issue does not occur on Edge or Chrome, and plays fine in Firefox on other devices.

Please update your graphics driver first: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core
The graphics driver is up to date. I re-installed the latest version from intel to make sure, and the issue still occurs.
Does setting media.wmf.dxva.d3d11.enabled=false fix the issue?

The first version which has that setting (nightly) doesn't display a video at all, regardless of that setting being enabled (just a black video with audio). Setting `media.wmf.dxva.enabled` to false does fix the issue however, which is unfortunately not available in previous versions, as does disabling hardware acceleration in any version.
