Build ID: 20170824123605
Steps to reproduce:
On Debian-based Linux got update to 55.0b1 64-bits. On 1 PC i used the normal update process using the standard update-tool, on another i updated "manually" (apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade). This second method uses another packet-source. On both systems the same result.
Actual results:
After the update all local mail-folders (including the mails in these folders) where gone on both systems.
Expected results:
The folders should still be there just like after previous updates.

You know that your e-mail is usually stored in ~/.thunderbird. What happened to this directory?

The reporter told me in a PM that he successfully restored his e-mail from backup. I'm closing this bug since we will never find out what happened.
