We are still using searchplugins/list.txt. This is missing from suite in the l10n ms dir. Either we switch to search/list.json (Bug 1300199 for Thunderbird) or compiling ms will fail during l10n buiding. l10n-merge does not process this dir. +++ snip +++ mozmake[1]: Leaving directory 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15p/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/suite/locales' repackaging done mozmake: Leaving directory 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15p/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/suite/locales' mozmake: Entering directory 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/suite/locales' cat: c:/Users/NO1/.mozbuild/l10n-central/ms/suite//searchplugins/list.txt: No such file or directory rm -f -rf ../../dist/xpi-stage/chatzilla-zip ../../dist/xpi-stage/chatzilla-*.zip.xpi mozmake: Leaving directory 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/suite/locales' mozmake: Entering directory 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/suite/locales' mozmake: *** No rule to make target 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/dist/seamonkey-2.55a1.en-US.win64.zi ', needed by 'd:/seabuild/release/comm-central-15/obj-x86_64-pc-mingw32/dist/unpacked-installer'. Oops, did I break something in SM? https://hg.mozilla.org/comm-central/rev/174ec1721bab I added it to suite as well, perhaps I shouldn't have. Sorry. I can back that part out, just let me know.

All good. You can't break something which is completly fubar. Your push didn't break anything and is needed for ms. Need to fix Bug 1405407 and then the error above should go away.

Any update for ms build?

We are currently trying to enable l10n builds again for Nightly. They are broken for a long time because of bug 1231349. I did a local ms build with a workaround for bug 1231349 and this one worked fine. We currently do releases from the esr52 branch. If you want we can try to include ms in one of the next builds. But this would mean doing a branch and importing the missing variables in the comm-release tree.

ms nightlies are now generated: https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/nightly/2017/12/2017-12-08-00-30-01-comm-central-trunk-l10n/ Only i686 so far because of general build infrastructure problems.
