Build ID: 2002-04-26-06, Windows 98 branch (Ninoschka found this).
Summary: After a GetMsg on news, hourglass remains (but throbber goes away)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. With a new profile, setup a newsgroup
[news://news.mozilla.org/netscape.public.test]
2. Do a GetMsg.
3. Then read a news message, the hourglass will remain.
Navin, could this be fallout from the 'throbber doesn't stop' bug you fixed a
few weeks back?

This doesn't affect my Win2k box, same build - but Ninoschka sees it on her
Windows ME machine.
OS: Windows 2000 → Windows ME

That fix was just to stop the connection.

[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021126]
After GetMsg from a POP3 Mail account on Win98, hourglass remains in all
menus/panes of the Mail/News Window except the Message pane.

I'm having hourglass on email on W2K machine, Moz 1.2.1 20021130
when mouse pointer is over folders pane or messages pane. Hourglass disappears
when pointer is in the text pane.

Problem doesn't seem to exist any longer in Mozilla 1.6a.

Agree, haven't seen the problem in 1.5b, 1.6a, 1.6b on Win98SE. FIXED?

Yes, this is fixed (but I'm marking it worksforme since I can't find a specific
checkin that fixed the behavior).
