Using a touchpad, when you scroll down the Search engine preferences page, when the cursor enters the search engine list, you can only scroll the list and can’t go back up. It’s pretty frustrating to stop scrolling, move the cursor out of the list, then scroll up again.
In the screencast attached, I try to scroll up at the end, but can only scroll the list.
I think the behavior should be similar to the Application list in the General panel: scroll down, then when the cursor enters the list scroll down the list. Then, after reaching the end of the list, when you keep scrolling, the page eventually scrolls down.
The issue was also present in previous releases, *but* the Search engine page was way shorter and most people didn’t have to scroll.
Now with the new content, people are more likely to scroll down and get "trapped" in the search engin list.
