From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 If removing a downloaded item from the list, while there are still downloads in progress below the removed item, all of the downloads below are reset to zero. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a whole bunch of files, open Download manager 2. Wait until a download has completed. (Not the last one in the list.) 3. Click remove from list. Actual Results: All downloads in progress below the removed item in the list will say "0 kb of 0 kb", and have a blank "" for the time remaining, until the next time more of the file is downloaded. (A few seconds on my dialup line) Expected Results: The information already in the download manager should have been used.

Is it related to bug 137676? Somewhat. Either bug could be fixed without affecting the other, or one patch could fix both. The problem is related to the system in place where the download information is only updated when part of the file is received. Think of a different system, and both problems go away. Since this is unlikely to happen, it would most likely be best to just fix each bug individually.

MASS-CHANGE: This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way. If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar). If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state. Query tag for this change: mass-UNCONFIRM-20090614
