The popup that is brought up, when you click on a name in the guilty list creates another entry for tinderbox. (see the go menu, when the popup is still there. You will see 2 entries for tinderbox). While going back after looking at the checkin details, session history finds that the current page is the same as the one to go to and does nothing. Not sure what tbox uses and why it creates another entry for the popup. looking...

is bug 126826 related to this? Jake

FWIW, with 1.0 under win32, all of my "Back" functionality has stopped as of today 6/10/2002. I cannot go to any site, click a link, then go back via the Back button, "Back" on the context menu (right click), nor via the Go menu up top. This happened both at work and at home, totally separate installations of Mozilla 1.0 under win32.

Ditto for build 2002053012 under Win2000 and Win98. I just installed both. Back button is grayed-out. Only way to go back is to find the page under the Go menu.

Jeff and Matt, are either of you working with old profiles? Can you try creating a brand new profile and see if you get the same behavior? Jake

See bug 126826 as listed by jake, It still happens from the start even after using a clean profile created with Profile Manager. And I've discovered a workaround to get the buttons to appear. (See comment 43) (Should one of these be listed as a duplicate?) -Chad

Don't be fooled by bug 126826; this here is about a NOT GREYED-OUT back button which does not work. This has something to do with wrong history cleanup, not bad button functionality. So both bugs are clearely distinct!

This is the same problem as 148794. Session History needs to be aware of page loads on iframes. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 148794 ***
