I unfortunately have no steps to reproduce. But this has happened a handful of times over the last few weeks.

In Firefox Nightly for OSX 10.12, occasionally find (cmd+f) in page does not appear (no toast at bottom of page). Pressing key combo multiple times, nothing happens. Can take a minute or two before it begins to respond. The page and browser are all responsive during this time though.

Asa mentioned there was a report of this on Twitter as well.

The issue occurred again. Noticed that Find in the Edit menu is grayed out while this is happening.
