streetparade.ch redirects IE and Netscape 4 to the following page:
http://www.streetparade.ch/page2001/00_flashcontent/start_k.htm

If you enter this page directly into Mozilla it is displayed without
errors.

This a bad JS sniffing browser. I unchecked JS for navigator in prefs panel, and
got an error message.

Here is the script in main page :

<script language="javascript">
var br = new Object();
br.lin = (navigator.platform.indexOf('Linux')+1);
br.opr = (navigator.appName.indexOf('Opera')+1);
br.mac = (navigator.appVersion.indexOf('Mac')+1);
br.ie  = (navigator.appName.indexOf('Microsoft') +1) +
         (navigator.appName.indexOf('MSIE')      +1);
br.nn  = (navigator.appName.indexOf('Netscape')  +1) * (!br.opr);
br.ver = parseFloat(navigator.appVersion);
if (br.mac && br.ie && br.ver >= 4) {
	br.ver =
parseFloat(navigator.appVersion.substring(navigator.appVersion.indexOf('MSIE')
+5));}
if (br.mac && br.ie){location.href = "page2001/mac_ie.htm";}
else if (br.mac==0 && br.lin==0 && br.nn && br.ver>=5){location.href =
"page2001/netscape6.htm";}
else if (br.mac==0 && br.ver<4){location.href = "page2001/3er_browser_win.htm";}
else if (br.mac && br.ver<4){location.href = "page2001/3er_browser_mac.htm";}
else if (br.lin==1 && br.ver>=5){location.href="page2001/linux_6.htm";}
else if (br.lin==1 && br.ver<=5){location.href="page2001/linux.htm";}

function fullscreen(url, scrollo) {
    var larg_schermo = screen.availWidth - 10;
    var altez_schermo = screen.availHeight - 50;
    window.open(url, "start", "width=" + larg_schermo + ",height=" +
altez_schermo + ",top=0,status=yes,resizable=yes,left=0,scrollbars=" + scrollo +
"");
}

Hope it helps :-)

Have contact: help@streetparade.com
Whiteboard: [DENY][eurocontest] → [DENY][eurocontest][havecontact]
so they just need to sniff better ?
adding havefix then.
Whiteboard: [DENY][eurocontest][havecontact] → [DENY][eurocontest][havecontact][havefix]
now you get a wanring about flash problems (scripting I guess)

They updated their website. Works fine with Mozilla 1.0
Fixed?
I dont have flash installed, can someone with flash test if their flash sniffing
works so that we can mark this bug as FIXED ?
the page now says you while loading, that they have problems with Flash on
IE/Mac and Netscape6 - I wouldn't call it fixed so

The message is still there, and when browsing the site in IE/Win2000 the message
isn't there. Some kind of bad browser sniffing is going on.

But the whole flash part WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US;
rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 there is only the annoying message left.
minor. please someone contact them about the problem.

Now they've made a html version of the site, if flash doesn't work. I have not
tried the flash version.

I think that this bug is to be closed with WFM.

Flash version is working perfectly for me (current CVS based trunk build) -
Linux and Flash Plugin 6.0r79.

Anyone with windows or MacOS to confirm it is working ?

For me, it is now a WFM ending :-}
