BuildID: 2002041711
I cannot import my address book from a text file, either from a tab delimited
version or a comma separated version
john, doe, johndoe@yahoo.com
jane, doe, janedoe@yahoo.com
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. export addresses into a text file
2. save file on desktop
3. open address book in Mozilla
4. start the import process
5. select text file format
6. select text file
7. import
Actual Results: There is a new file created in the address book with the file
name of the file I chose to import, but there are no cards present.
Expected Results: There should be a new file created in the address book with
all contacts included
WorksForMe using Mac/2002072203. I exported my Mozilla address book to tab-delimited text file,
which I was then able to successfully re-import into the Mozilla address book.
Beatrice, what application did you export the addresses from, originally?

I exported them from Claris E-mailer and Microsoft Outlook Express both as text
files and neither one worked, but the newer version of Mozilla works for me now.
I use Mozilla at work as Claris E-mailer on my personal computer (both Macs).

Mac classic builds are "dead"
You could try a 1.3.1 OS classic build from here :
