This looks like a view problem. Not sure if it happens on Linux or Mac. To reproduce: 1. Start up the browser. 2. Shrink the window so that the URL bar gets clipped by the right edge of the browser window. 3. Now make the window wider. You should now see garbage inside of the URL bar because it did not paint the areas that were exposed during the resize.
Accepting bug. Marking M12.
I don't see this bug on Mac. To me, it looks like it's been fixed or it's a Windows-gfx bug. Changed QA contact to email@example.com
To reproduce this bug, it seems that you have to have enough buttons on your custom bookmarks toolbar so that it extends past the end of the window. That is, you can't see all the buttons that should be on the toolbar. This causes the URL bar to extend past the edge of the window too. You'll know when this happens cause you won't be able to see the throbber and print button on the right side.

using the 1999111108 build on win95, I cannot reproduce this bug. The Location field does not get corrupted. Kin I am marking this as works for me. This is what I did 1. launched apprunner 2. with the default bookmarks, I resized the window several times and the Location field remained correct. 3. exited the app 4. modified the bookmark file with additional links 5. repeated 1. & 2. Result: worked fine, there weren't any repaint issues.
