For a few weeks the autocomplete part of entering a person's name into the needinfo field has been failing, on and off. It seems to especially happen with the names that start with a colon. The search just never completes. I use this many times a day but haven't quite figured out a pattern in the failures.
Ritu did you file a bug for this already? you mentioned it, and I went looking but didn't find one that looked related.

No I didn't but Dylan did when I pinged him. Kohei mentioned it in comment 2. Resolving this as a dup.
