User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/61.0.3163.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Download emails, select with mouse one of the already read, got thru each of them by the list of messages by down arrow on keyboard. Actual results: Some messages (for specific accounts) are not marked as read (bold doesn't disappear). Expected results: All messages should be marked as read.

That generally works. Are you going through the list too fast? Or are you using a "unified" inbox? Then it's a known problem that will be fixed in TB 52.4.1 in a few weeks time, see bug 1387581.

I am going through the items list by 1-2 seconds. Yes, I am using "unified" inbox. But this didn't happened in earlier versions (about 2-3 public releases back).

Try a Daily build or the upcoming TB 56 beta 4. Yes, a few releases back we changed message key allocation in folders, now it's more likely that messages in two different folders have the same key and then you hit this problem.
