Works for me
2002042803/WinXP
Summary: clicking on the links in the menu has no effect → naxos.com - clicking on the links in the menu has no effect

Reporter:
You might try updating to a newer build and let us know if you can recreate the
problem.
The bug still exists in Mozilla 1.0.0+
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020506
For example, if you hover the mouse over "naxos catalogues," a pop-menu will
appear. If you choose "search our catalogues," nothing will happen.

Works for me using 2002-05-07-05 on Win98; The reporter uses Linux, it might be
a Linux only bug

I also noticed that on different pages. (Clicking on a pop-up menu - nothing
happens).
But: only if I use KDE! Using with eg. icewm it is OK.

Some addition:
Similar problem on the following page: http://www.itu.int/
The "first-level" menu-items are working, but not the "second-level".
Eg. "Publications->ITU Publications" OK,
"Publications->Main publications->ITU-T Recommendations" not.
(Mandrake 8.2, KDE 3.0.1, tested on two different PC with different
processor/videocard)

I took a look at the JavaScript, basically if the version is 4.7 (Netscape 4),
it uses document.layers; for 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0 (Internet Explorer), it uses
document.GetElementByID; and for 4.0 (Internet Explorer) is uses document.all.
I see nothing Linux or KDE specific. I don't know how it is working with Mozilla.
These are Active Server Pages so maybe it is server-side processing that is
causing this.

Some other pages with the original problem:
www.eurescom.de
www.kpn.nl
www.abnamro.nl
Selecting a link from pop-up menu doesn't work under KDE.
I don't know if it is a KDE bug or Mozilla bug.
(Mandrake 8.2, KDE 3.0.1, Mozilla 1.0)

I'm still experiencing the problem using:
Mozilla 1.1a
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.1a) Gecko/20020610
As another reporter said, the first-level menus work, but not the second-level
don't.

Make sure your cursor is hovering over the text and not the non-text parts of
the entry. I am using 2002070508 on Windows XP Home Edition.
