Steps to reproduce: - Visit http://njn.valgrind.org/monarchs.json. - Search (ctrl-f) for "Unready". It fails. - Scroll to the bottom of the page, and search again. It succeeds. This happens in both the "JSON" and "Raw Data". This is different to how text search works in normal web pages, and is *extremely* unexpected. I just wasted a bunch of time because I thought some fields weren't present in a JSON file when really they were.

This is in Firefox Nightly (58) on both Mac and Linux.

I also tried on 58 on Windows. I had a slightly old Nightly, and the search worked correctly. Then I updated to the latest Nightly and it didn't work. So it seems like a recent regression, maybe in the last week or two.

In running mozregression, I got this pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=e6510aeb4e94df029cc47d2d00cd2f19ba5cc9d3&tochange=59045a9d7990aaa8262e28a6bccfda2ca82ecd68 So it's probably a consequence of patches for bug 1302470.
