Steps to reproduce:

1. Open android Firefox app
2. Sing in with firefox account (do not enable "open tabs syncing")
3. Open any website
4. Tap "share" menu to send the tab to another device



Actual results:

"Send tab to device" item is not available in the sharing list

If "sync open tabs" is enabled on both devices (desktop and mobile) then "Send tab to device" item will be available on android.




Expected results:

"Send tab to device" is available regardless of "sync open tabs" setting, just like it works between desktop clients.

I could reproduce this issue on Fennec 56 & 57, but it does not reproduce on Nightly 58. Nightly actually sees Beta and Release in "Send to other devices" if you're connected with the same account on all of them. But on 56 & 57 there's no "send to other devices" option.

Device:
Samsung S7 Edge (Android 7.0).

At least for me, the issue seem to be fixed on Firefox 57 on Android (8.0)

Can you still reproduce this on any of the recent builds, 58 and up?

Cannot reproduce on 58 and up. I'll close the bug as it works for me and seems to be fixed for the reporter also.
