Details

[Affected versions]:
- Nightly 2017-10-17

[Affected platforms]:
- Ubuntu 16.04 x 64

[Steps to reproduce]:
1. Open https://mail.google.com
2. Click "Compose"
3. Drag and drop several files at once.

[Expected result]:
- Mail compose area is active and you can instantly drop a file there.

[Actual result]:
- It takes a while until the message " Drop Files Here" appears and you can actually drop the files. If you drop it before, then the files don't load.

[Additional notes]:
- This happens on yahoo.com, outlook.live.com, icloud.com, docs.google.com and other sites.
I wasn't able to find the regression range, because the drag and drop feature was removed from the browser for a while. For more information you can access this link: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Archive/Mozilla/Drag_and_drop .

As far as I can tell this issue appeared after the feature was implemented again in 2014-04-10.
Neil, given Comment #1, should this be treated as a regression? Could you give it a priority?

I'm not sure what comment 1 is referring to. Drag and drop has never been removed. But if this has been around since 2014 then it doesn't seem like a priority. This doesn't correlate with the tracking flags though.
