Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to http://output.jsbin.com/sedasizoja/
2. Without zooming in, tap the red square

Actual results:

Output "target is map"

Expected results:

Output "target is box"

Just for clarity I can't reproduce this on desktop using touch input, only android.

The example in http://output.jsbin.com/fayuvem/ only works in Chrome for me. In both safari and firefox (both mobile and desktop) I get no pointerdown events.

MDN says pointer events are not supported on Firefox mobile. Is it just out of date? They don't work for me in Nightly or even tip of tree.
