From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Q312461) BuildID: Email will not autocheck - neither when the Browser first opens nor at the set intervals as defined in Email Preferences. This has been the case on all 6.X builds and occurs on 4 different systems I've tried (Windows XP, Windows 98) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send self email 2. Open Browser or wait for specified interval 3. Actual Results: No autocheck until you open email module. Expected Results: Autocheck Has not worked in any Netscape 6.x build. This happens on every system I've tried. I am an ex-Netscape beta tester and am familiar with how the products should perform.

Bug description and not severity is the criteria of a duplicate. Re-resolving as duplicate of bug 128851. The issue is known. Please add concerns about severity there. FYI: Biff tracking bug is bug 36011. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 128851 ***
