Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to https://mastodon.social/about
2. Tap the "Add to home screen" button
3. Proceed to add the application to the home screen


Actual results:

The application icon (on the home screen) and the one showed in the "Add to home screen" banner/preview are different.


Expected results:

The application icon (on the home screen) and the one showed in the "Add to home screen" banner/preview are the same.

Works for me on a current nightly build (v58). But then again, this might have been a bug on their web site. Sorin, are you still able to reproduce this bug? Even after clearing the cache (probably in -> Android Settings -> [Device] Apps -> Firefox ... -> Storage -> Cache -> Clear Cache).

Clearing the cache fixes the issue - though I would argue that the icon should be refetched given that it is displayed prominently in the banner.

I could not reproduce the issue. Given that it looks like it was fixed for the reporter as well, I will close this bug, but feel free to come back and let us know if you are still experiencing the problem.
