User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20171023100252
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open this website: http://christmas.cleveradviser.com/
From https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/788dgk/firefox_specific_slowdown_comparison/
Actual results:
2. Big jumps between the snowflake animation frames, countdown sometimes hangs for a short time and then goes down several steps
Expected results:
3. Open website in Chrome
4. It performs like it should, snowflakes fall down smoothly and the counter clocks down in regular steps
With 57beta10 it performs the same for me as Chrome. Snowflake animation is smooth and clock looks normal.
How long does it take for the issues to take effect while watching it?
In Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

Ok, so I rebooted my machine in the mean time and now I can't reproduce it again, it performs just as good as Chrome.
Hm.
I'll let Firefox open for some time and then try again I guess?
It still occasionally skips a second in the countdown, but that could also be due to badly written JavaScript.
I will report back if it happens again, but you can probably close this for now.
