From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020426 BuildID: 2002042603 When i open a page with an image that has a white background, such as www.google.com all the images are shown in a light gray backgound. I've saved some of this images and opened them with the GIMP. With the color picker over the white part of the image it tells me that the color is #ffffff (wich is correct on the GIMP) Then i've made a screen shot of the mozilla and the white component of the image was replaced with the color #f6ffff Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open browser 2. Go to any site with images with white background 3. Actual Results: color #ffffff is replaced with #f6ffff (probably other colors to, but white focus your attention most) Expected Results: no color substitution only get this results after upgrading to mozilla 1.0 RC1. Previous versions didn't had this problem.
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020425 I did not check all details listed by the reporter, but I cannot see any problem with gray shaded background.
Bug#53597 comment#176 (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53597#c176) seems to describe the same thing -- is this related?
