Is this with a pop server? Is it configured correctly? what does "installation" mean? Different machines? Different profiles?
well, i got following error from another email client and worked out for the solution. Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1 <email@example.com>... Relaying denied. IP name lookup failed [XXX.XXX.XXX.XX]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79 for now i am *just curious* why mozilla mail failed to give me any error. and thanks for quick reply
that would be a bug - I'd have to look at the pop3 code and see why it's not displaying errors returned by the server. It should be.
Please go to bug 165832 and check if this here is a dupe or any of the bugs listed there is a dupe of this one. pi
