Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171018030234 Steps to reproduce: In Firefox I visit My settings https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/jidanni/account and change my Profile Description and click Save Changes. I can't because it says "enter an email address". I look in the New Email Address field and indeed jidanni (Not jidanni@jidanni.org though) has been entered for me. I clean it out, and click Save Changes again. This time I get 1 error prohibited this user from being saved There were problems with the following fields: Pass crypt confirmation doesn't match Password Now I try the experiment again with chromium and finally can change my Profile Description! So we see it My settings is interacting poorly with the Firefox automatic form filler capabilities. Using chromium we see that thankfully, unlike Firefox, New Email Address, and both password fields are left blank. This despite chromium correctly filling in our password when we login.

So on https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/jidanni/account Firefox should not attempt to fill in anything.
