Using the latest nightly: 2017-Oct-26 Please see the attached video demonstrating this happening. It doesn't happen when: - webrender is disabled - in Gdocs, View is set to Print Layout Something happens after 16 pages. I created 16 pages of CR/LF. When I create the 17th page the UI starts flickering and there are lots of painting problems with the GDoc UI. The content doesn't seem to matter. Only the number of pages. Initially started happening with a mixed content (text, images, colours) document. Reproduced with a doc full of whitespace.

Nightly 58 x64 20171025230440 de_DE @ Debian Testing (KDE, Radeon RX480) fresh profile: layers.acceleration.force-enabled, gfx.webrender.enabled I couldn't reproduce at first, tried to zoom in and out. But then I activated and deactivated View>Print Layout and it looks exactly the same as in your video.
