1412548 - Awesomebar favicon doesn't change to match currently-selected autocomplete option

Attachment: UX after entering "b" into the awesomebar address field

The awesomebar favicon is stuck on a magnifying glass, even when I type "d" and the first entry it autoselects is "drive.google.com", which is then pre-typed into the address bar and text-highlighted for me, as well as showing a valid favicon - but that favicon isn't pre-entered into the address bar to the left of where it'll go if I press Return.

This is by design. Until you navigate to a website the awesomebar remains in a search/navigate mode. If you are on google.com and start typing in the awesomebar bugzilla.org, many people would find it confusing to see the google favicon in one place and the bugzilla favicon in another simultaneously.
