Firefox 56.0.1 and 56.0.2 on Windows 8.1 64-bit (haven't checked 56.0) It doesn't matter if the Firefox installers are 32-bit or 64-bit. After Firefox release got installed (from the full installer), a Firefox application link gets created in the taskbar, but that one uses the already installed German beta version (if I remember correct the latest release or beta binary which got updated on this system). Maybe I just noticed the issue now because of the Firefox logo update. About the system setup: Each release version gets installed as 32- and 64-bit version and remains installed after the end of support. Pre-release versions central and beta are installed as 32-bit versions in both English and German.
