"Link properties" dialogue in composer is application modal

Details
Its bad enough if it were just composer modal, but this prevents me from using
any of the my Mozilla windows while its up. This is bad, because I often
actually want to check out URLs while I'm creating web pages.
For example, today I was creating a personal "course list" that linked to my
course web sites. I couldn't remember the URL of one of them, so I went to check
my bookmarks. Suprise, suprise, I couldn't operate my (already open) mozilla window.

Over to editor... As of a few days ago, we actually support window-modal windows
(before they were all app-modal). So this may not be as big a deal now...

What? All of Composer's dialogs have always been "window", not "app" modal on
Windows and, I thought, also for Linux.
I thought it was only the Mac that suffered from app-modal dialogs?
Boris: what change are you referring to?
Akkana: Can you confirm this?

In a branch build from 4/16: it's app modal.
In a debug build from 4/30: it's window modal.
Looks to me like the dialog is window modal, and once the bug in the gtk
front-end got fixed so that we allow window-modal dialogs, the link properties
becomes window modal.
Reporter: what build were you using, and do you see any dialog anywhere that's
window modal but not app modal?

Using Mozilla 1.0rc1
There are not (thank goodness) very many modal dialogues in Mozilla,at least not
that I was able to quickly find. The ones that I could find (such as "Open
File") were all application modal where I would have expected window-modality.
So I suspect you are right that this was a general bug in the GTK frontend.

Marking worksforme -- wasn't a problem with the composer dialog, and the backend
bug is fixed now. Seems to be fixed on current branch builds too.
