Bug 1409468 added a new field "appleModelId" to our Environment > System telemetry data. It would be great to get this added to main_summary so that it can be queried through re:dash and/or Spark.

Getting this addressed within a week or so would be really helpful. This data is needed to help establish a roadmap for work in Firefox on macOS going forward. Thank you!

This is an attempt at adding this field to main_summary. I based my patch loosely on the patch for bug 1415274.
