Details

(Whiteboard: [platform-rel-Twitch])

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:58.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/58.0 Build ID: 20171101220120 [Affected versions]: Nightly 58.0a1, Beta 57.0b13 , FF release 56.0.2 [Affected platforms]: Windows 10 x 64, Mac OS X 10.12, Windows 7 x64, Ubuntu 16.04 x64 [Steps to reproduce]: 1.Launch Firefox with a new profile 2.Open Browser Console 3.Go to twitch.tv [Expected results]: No errors in browser console [Actual results]: The browser console displays the error: "edge.quantserve.com:443 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.akamaized.net, *.akamaihd-staging.net, *.akamaized-staging.net, *.akamaihd.net, a248.e.akamai.net Error code: <a id="errorCode" title="SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN">SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN</a>"
This is a problem with edge.quantserve.com, not Firefox. In any case, either they fixed it or I can't reach that particular endpoint: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=edge.quantserve.com

Testing in Firefox 59 for OSX, I'm not seeing any errors regarding security certificates. Maybe this has been fixed? Roxana, are you able to confirm please?

This doesn't reproduce, but it's also not worth caring about IMO.
