In the MSNBC page in question, there are a few display issues:

1) "Local" in the main navigations bar should be highlighted.

2) Menus don't work. (They may be IE proprietary. Didn't investigate in detail.
The page is MSN optimized, after all.)

3) Under "Select A New City", the word wrapped portion of "Los Angeles
(ESPAÑOL)" is not indented properly.

4) At the bottom, "MSNBC Terms, Conditions and Privacy © 2002" look as if it's
not properly word wrapped.

Trivial stuff, but it should be fixed, assuming these are not the result of a
web site simply exploiting incorrect output on the part of IE.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load the URL in Mozilla
2. Load the URL in IE 5.0 (IE 6.0 screws up Win98SE on my machine.)
3. Compare.

Evangelism... the server just gives us an image that is not "highlighted" (and
gives NS4 a different image, I should note).  The menus use
document.all/document.layers, which Mozilla does not support.  The indentation
is done via padding-left on an inline element, so our rendering is correct in
the wrapping case.  I can't reproduce problem #4, but the rest are definitely
instances of relying on incorrect rendering by IE.  :(

There are multiple other bugs open about MSNBC, and we have notified them about
most of these issues previously. First thing is they need to fix their sniffing.

this is really covered in the other bugs on this site. they are working on a new
release. please retest in a couple of weeks and open new bugs if you still see
issues.
