Steps to reproduce:

Download a web page or reload a page


Actual results:

The download spinner beside the title of the web page, into the tab of firefox, is not animated: it change from the ico icon to a static gray circle with a dot to a static blue spinner.


Expected results:

They could be animated and not static.

My System is Mageia 6 Linux. Problem with the spinner I had some time ago with mageia 5. Now with mageia 6 all was fine but from some weekago  I have problem with the static spinner. I have reinstalled the rpm without success.

Given that this bug occurs on version 52, which is an Extended Support Release where only critical bugs are fixed, this one will not be fixed. Firefox 57 is unlikely to have spinner issues, as we improved those specifically.
