1414914 - WebRender font rendering bug - fonts look faint/spindly, blurry and have reddy-orange shade

Steps to reproduce:

Switched WebRender on in about:config and restarted Nightly to try it.


Actual results:

Fonts look thin, quite faint and spindly, they also have a reddy-orange/pink-ish shade to them, making them look like they have a slight 3D effect. This makes them blurry and hard to read. This applies to browser chrome as well as web content. I have included a screenshot taken with magnifier on to show the problem.


Expected results:

The fonts should look the same as when WebRender was off.

Another sample for this bug.
A oddity: if I capture site with firefox screenshot by selecting a menu(not manual drag), captured screenshot doesn't have this bug and rendered correctly.

I can't say I'm seeing that bug. It might be related but mine isn't that extreme so I'm unsure.
