From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002042712 In the page at http://64.224.182.101/index2.html , the sliced graphics in the tables have spaces inserted between the cells, so the layout is not displayed correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type http://64.224.182.101/index2.html into the location. 2. Load the page. 3. Um, yeah. That's it. Actual Results: The page was not displayed correctly. Improper spaces between table data cells are displayed. Expected Results: Tables with attributes "border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0" should have no spaces between cells. While this bug is not super critical (i.e. the browser doesn't crash) it's fairly important for designers and developers to be able to rely on the browser to display layouts as per W3C specifications.
The document type DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional triggers standards mode. See bug 22274 for how to handle descenders. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 22274 ***
