The new rules for NDA mozillians require 2FA, and point to using github.com as the authentication provider. Except, if you have a LDAP account, you get "Sorry, you may not login using GitHub. Please instead always login with LDAP."

Hey :zombie! I suggest for now you use LDAP as provider since its currently the strongest authentication method and the system forces you to use it. MFA is going to be allowed to contributors soon so i suggest we revisit this bug after that.

Please let me know if you have any issues logging in with LDAP (without using DUO MFA). If it works we can close this bug.

I've been using LDAP for years without issues, though not sure if it will be affected by the new rules after November 15th.

It will be OK. LDAP is considered a strong authentication mechanism and you can continue using it (you won't lose the NDA status).

Closing as this sounds like it's handled. Reopen if there's an issue.
