Dellums has been reporting this bug to us in IRC & thankfully has gave us loads of details & stuck with us thru troubleshooting.

He's tried a new profile w/ no addons, used Safe Mode, tried both Beta & Nightly, 32-bit & 64-bit, updated to latest graphics drivers, updated to the Fall Creators update, disabled hardware acceleration, tested on a dual & single monitor display and more. But this bug keeps rearing its ugly head!

Fx 54 is the last version w/o this bug for him. He's using MozRegression to find a regression range.

Gfx info: Intel(R) HD Graphics v.8.15.10.2900 / Final driver date: 11-26-2012


The bug:
After some time of having Firefox open, all its menus & UI buttons, the right-click context menu, window close button and pop up windows are hidden/invisible or not accessible. My computer (Windows 10 Pro 64-bit). I have tried the 32-bit version of Firefox (latest), 64-bit (latest) and currently have the Beta 57.0b13 64-bit installed and it happens on all of them.

For Dellums, this bug happens after a certain amount of time has passed or when a certain 3rd party program runs. He can interact with the invisible elements using his keyboard arrow keys & enter key. To escape this, he must restart Firefox.

Right click works for hours but then stops. It's been happening since the last two updates 55.0.1 and then the quick one that followed, 55.0.2:

Can you verify that this range is correct by using
mozregression --launch 32ba9f88
and
mozregression --launch d0aa9b4a
and check whether the builds behave differently?

I tested the range 2017-04-20 to 2017-04-23 and 2017-04-20 is the only build I could not get the bug to appear in
