I noticed a while ago that webextension menus fail to appear. Only the arrow of the doorhanger appears. I did a test with a new profile with FF 56.0.2 after installing a couple WE addons. The same thing happens.
This makes some WE addons partially or completely unusable.

I attached an APNG for clarity.

What operating system are you on? What is the value of extensions.webextensions.remote? Do you have a link to some of the extensions?

I submitted my platform in the bug report.

False. (Caused issues so I had it locked to disabled ) Changing it to true seems to work for the new profile I tested with, but not with my main profile, where the menus remain broken even after doing so.

They're rather common ones:

https://addons.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/versions/beta
https://addons.mozilla.org/hu/firefox/addon/screengrab-fix-version/versions/

plus:
https://my.jdownloader.org/apps/

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be addon specific at all. Either all work or none.
It looks like I figured it out. It looks like enabling apz.allow_zooming breaks it.
(I accidentally set it to true for the new profile)
Ah thank you, yes there are problems with APZ and webextension popups.
