When I want a cvs log or cvs blame on a file, I use lxr to search for the file,
but then I have to load the file before I can get a link to get to the blame or
log pages. Please please please, could lxr give me a link to those on the small
page it gives me when I search for a filename, so I don't have to load the whole
file? (Less critical now that 4.61 fixed the bug where loading a large file
hangs the browser, but it would still be nice not to have to go through the
extra step.)

Akkana,
You logged this bug 5 years ago... Is this still a problem for you?
Yes, nothing has changed since then and it would still be really helpful.

Reassigning all LXR bugs assigned to build@mozilla-org.bugs to the default LXR owner (sorry Bear!)

We aren't actively working on these (if that's wrong, please reassign to yourself/a real person).

i do intend to fix this. i have one concern. i often use lxr to get a list of files i want to process from a shell. I do this by copying the text from the web page into the shell....

should we just drop my use case?

mxr is gone, mass closing.
https://searchfox.org/ is a much better alternative.
