From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020501 BuildID: 2002050108 The page at the above URL is a frameset, with a 50 pixel HTTPS frame for logging in to a bank account at the top of the page. This HTTPS frame loads extremely slowly with Mozilla, but at "normal" speed, ie. unnotizable delay, with both Netscape and MSIE. In Mozilla, the frame will apparently load eventually (given minutes of time). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load above URL I put this in the "Security: General" because it only happens with HTTPS frames.

Marking works for me. I show a total download time for the page of 2.687 seconds. That's in California. Maybe download conditions were not optimal at the time?

Reopening - this is a real bug. It doesn't seem to be related to net conditions. I have done a number of tests today with Netscape 6.2 and IE 6.0 in addition to Mozilla. Mozilla is the only browser showing this slow loading behaviour. It's rather unlikely that only Mozilla would be affected by chance. There's no obvious reason Mozilla should be slower than the others at any given time. A good way to replicate this is by repeatedly forcing a full page reload by holding the CTRL-key, while clicking on the reload button. Now try this in MSIE or Netscape 6.2 -- it works fine in both.

Reporter, can you see if bug 136210 is what is affecting you?
I'm using a 4096KB memory cache and 50000KB disk cache, so this bug doesn't seem to be the same as bug 136210.
Are you working through a proxy?
No. (And Netscape and MSIE use the exact same config on the same machine).
It's working fine with te 5/10 Win2000 build. Reporter, can you try today's build?
WinXP / 2002053012 / JRE 1.4.0-rc WFM, also this bug was encountered using an old (3+ weeks) build of Mozilla, if this bug persists using a current build, please get this bug reopened.
