I vote to bump this up. I installed firefox, developer and ESR onto the same machine because I hate chrome and I generally want TWO copies of firefox. I don't really care if one is esr or not. I just want one with add-ons and one without add-ons.
It looks like I have all three installed to distinct paths. To be honest I think that the install directory and the data directory shld EACH be allowed to be configured. I don't know how many people have problems with storage space on the C drive but with everyone moving to solid states? It doesn't matter how big it is I've had problems running out of space on every C drive I've used since August 1995 when windows 95 and I shared a 110mb disk.
I want to be able to put my data and my install on the D drive. I want to be able to install Firefox and Firefox2. It doesn't matter with where the ESR vs non ESR. I think that firefox should be like Sql Server started being twenty years ago. Support multiple different installs.
