I've been using Mozilla since the 0.9.2 release, and while stability and useability has been increasing with each release, I have noticed that the Mozilla 1.0 RC1 build {Build ID: 2002041711} seems to demand heavy system/memory resources from my 500MHz, 128MB RAM work computer. In fact, it is such a noticeable difference between my 0.9.9 mozilla install at home and my 1.0 RC1 mozilla install at work that I haven't dared install 1.0 RC1 at home. I use mozilla for all websurfing activities, and while it has not crashed on me yet, I do notice it slowing down all other processes, and especially window refreshes, on my work computer. This may have to do with the fact that we also run Lotus Notes here at work, which admittedly is a severe memory hog. At least no Outlook viruses...yet. ;)
This is invalid because it's to general. Please look here for our tests: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/data/memtests/memtest_form.html
