From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 Spam emails often contain pictures (or other content) that will be fetched from a remote server, once the Mail is opened. This eats bandwith and gives the spammer a feedback that the mail was recieved - a behaviour that is not desirable. While it is possible to work around this (by requiring confirmation for ALL picture requests), it would be better to have an option that disallows any outgoing connections to be initiated by mail/news messages.

Currently there's a workaround in the trunk nightlys by selecting "view Message Body As" ->simple text. but there's another bug open, so marking dup of that one. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 28327 ***
