found using 2002.05.02 branch (and trunk) bits on Mac 9.1 and linux rh7.2.
oddly, not a problem (so far) on win2k.

i couldn't quite find an exiting bug on this...this has cropped up elsewhere in
the app, so feel free to dup to an existing bug, if needed.

0. found this with the '3qatest01' test account (imap); i didn't change the size
of the window or collapse any of the folders. a good way to test would be to
remove the localstore.rdf to get the default display.

1. open the mailnews 3pane.

2. clicked on the Trash folder.

results: watched the splitter btwn the thread and message pane jump wildly.

Dup of "Some windows (Mail, Venkman) freak out with 100% CPU on window resize
(when no height on an element)" (everyone's most hated reflow bug)

Yeah.  Basically, anything that cases a reflow of the tree (which clicking on a
folder certainly does) triggers this.... resizing is just an easy way to trigger
reflow.  :)
