This domain is to support our work across Rust Brazil community where we're working together to establish strategies and activities for the coming year that include:

- Website with a map of Rust blog posts in Portuguese (BR)
- 2018 Rust Roadshow Brasil
- Rust Community Conference

These will be the core activities we'll be taking together to support the engagement goals of new programmers in Rust, so important to Mozilla.

The domain is intended to be used with GitHub pages and GSuite so far, if possible, provide setup with GSuite and assign access to the DNS zone to be easily managed by us.

Who will have write access to the repository on GitHub? Is there a discussion for this on Discourse you can point us to?

As far as I know, it's a straight-forward process to set up GitHub pages with custom domains, I think this is a one-time process. I don't think DNS access is needed here. https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-an-apex-domain/

Do you already have a version of this GH Pages based site?

Everyone who is/or wants lead (core contributor inside the community) a project within the community can have access. This was discussed in our Telegram group, Rust Lang BR (https://t.me/rustlangbr) which has volunteers from Mozilla and Rust, the Telegram is the main communication channel of the Rust Lang BR community.

We'll use the main domain and subdomains, if just pointing DNS name to GitHub only time solves this, it's ok. :)

I'll create websites for events, projects and others for community using GitHub pages and setup the rustbr.org domain/subdomains on repositories settings.

Not ready, this is the main planning that starts in February 2018. Initially we will create and host websites to support our activities which are Rust Roadshow, Rust Community Conf and Map of blog posts in pt-br. The sites will be created according to the date of the activities: Rust Roadshow takes place in February 2018, so the site will be created in January; the same to blog posts map website. Rust Conf takes place in the second half of 2018. I am requesting support here in advance since we have activities to take place in February, so it would be nice to have everything ready by the end of the year.
