Steps how to reproduce with unzipped installer of official en-US SeaMonkey 2.56a1 (NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:59.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/59.0 Build 20171125012120 (MODERN Theme) on German WIN7 64bit:

1. Launch Browser with newly created User Profile
2. Visit some websites like
   <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/plugins>
   <http://groups.google.com/>
   <https://duckduckgo.com/>
   <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/>
   and always create new bookmark
3. In menu 'go', 'Bookmarks',eventually also 'Tools'
   gamble around
   BUG: Some of the icons very big. Eventually originally size from web
        page, not downsized for use in menu?

Additional information
a) Only MODERN Theme affected, no problem with "Classic Default"
b) Was still ok with Build 20171121012248
c) OS = ALL due to first report on
   de.comm.software.mozilla.nightly-builds
   By Hartmut Figge
d) Also particular context menus (if contain favicons) are affected.
Summary: I'cons in (bookmark) pulldown menus grotesquely oversized → Favicons in (bookmark) pulldown menus grotesquely oversized

It seems user-bug-reports have become a little useless - developers do not care.

Wrong bug.

> developers do not care.

You know I care and I thought there was one. I just didn't find this one.
